PROUDFLESH Finish Debut Album; Announce Gig With U.K. Punk Legends GBH
December 21, 2005PROUDFLESH, the San Francisco band comprised of Sothira (ex-CRUCIFIX) on bass and vocals, Erik Lannon (ex-MORDRED, AMERICAN HEARTBREAK) on drums and Jimmy Crucifix (ex-CRUCIFIX, FANG, RESISTOLEROS) on guitar, have completed work on their self-titled debut 10-song album, due out March 24 on the band's own Wired Gnome Records. The CD was recorded at Oakland's House Of Faith Studios with producer Bart Thurber. The band are currently in negotiation for licensing and distribution deals in various territories throughout the world. Three of the newly mastered tracks can be heard on the band's MySpace.com site at www.myspace.com/proudflesh.
In other news, PROUDFLESH have landed the support slot for the upcoming show by legendary U.K. punk band GBH at the Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco on March 5. The show is all ages, and will mark the band's first hometown show featuring the new lineup.
